………and what a tremendous year it has been!

On Sunday 1st March Dr Alastair Thomson and his wife Charlotte were invited to the pub to collect a cheque for the amazing sum of £7,500.00.

This sum was raised throughout the year at various fundraising events and through the selling of the calendar which we told you about last Autumn.

Dr Thomson gave a talk on the role of the Appeal and we hope to have a photo of the cheque presentation to put on the website soon.

A really magnificent effort for a local village pub. Thank you from all of us at the Appeal.
